Intel claims that Arc 140V iGPU outperforms Radeon 890M by 16%

Intel has introduced a new series of Lunar Lake chips, where the new Arc 140V iGPU has achieved amazing results and outperformed the Radeon 890M by 16%.

Here's What We Know

In the Lunar Lake series presented by Intel, the new Core Ultra 9 288V GPU was 31% faster than the previous Arc Xe LPG with Meteor Lake. The company conducted a detailed comparison of the Arc 140V with the RDNA 3.5 iGPU in 23 games, where the new product showed an advantage in the overall result, although the Radeon 890M is leading in individual games.

Intel notes that Arc 140V delivers the best performance in ray-tracing, as evidenced by data from five games. These achievements could increase competition in the gaming computer market.

MSI has already announced the Claw 8 AI+ based on Core Ultra 200V, and Acer is likely to prepare new devices based on Lunar Lake chips as well.
