Battles, dialogue and personal quest: 22 minutes of Dragon Age: The Veilguard with developer commentary unveiled

IGN portal published a 22-minute gameplay video of Dragon Age: The Veilguard RPG with developers' comments.

Here's What We Know

The shown fragments begin with a luxurious fortress, which previously belonged to the ancient elf Solas, but now it serves as a base for the protagonist and his companions.

Then they presented the dialogue system, battles, trading with characters and key gameplay mechanics. The main focus of the video is on completing Devin's personal quest - one of the seven companions of the protagonist. In this part of his story arc, the player needs to help the character find the endangered griffons.

Overall, Dragon Age: The Veilguard makes a good impression, however, the clunky interface that contrasts with that of past instalments catches the eye.

It's impossible not to mention that the game has become more of an action game than an RPG, but whether it's good or bad is impossible to say yet.

When We Can Expect It

Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released on 31st October on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

Already published system requirements of the game.
