Asus presents new VivoBook Flip laptops with Intel Lunar Lake processor and OLED displays

At IFA 2024, Asus has unveiled the new VivoBook 14 Flip and VivoBook 16 Flip Copilot+ laptops, which are powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor with Lunar Lake architecture.

Here's What We Know

Both models have 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB solid-state drive that can be expanded with an additional M.2 slot.

The main differences between the two models are in the displays: The VivoBook 14 Flip features a 14-inch FHD+ OLED touchscreen display with a 60Hz refresh rate, while the VivoBook 16 Flip has a 16-inch 3K (2880 x 1800) OLED touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Both displays support HDR with up to 500 nits of peak brightness and full DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.

In terms of batteries, the VivoBook 14 Flip comes with a 70Wh battery, while the VivoBook 16 Flip has a slightly larger 75Wh battery. The weight of the models also differs: The 14-inch version weighs 1.57kg, while the 16-inch version weighs 1.8kg.

Both models have a wide range of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C with DisplayPort support, and a microSD card reader.

The laptops support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 and can work with the Asus Pen 2.0 stylus.

The price and launch date have not yet been announced.
