Beats announces Powerbeats Pro 2 with a new design and USB-C to be released in 2025 (video)
The Beats Powerbeats Pro, which have proven to be one of the best workout headphones since 2019, will soon receive an update. Beats has published a teaser for the new Powerbeats Pro 2 model, which will be available in 2025.
Here's What We Know
In the teaser posted on the official BeatsbyDre page in X, baseball star Shohei Ohtani demonstrates a new version of the headphones. It is known that celebrities often get access to new products even before their official release, so this advert comes as no surprise.

From the short video, it is noticeable that Powerbeats Pro 2 received a new design with a smaller form factor, as well as the favourite hook design. This may indicate that the charging case will also become more compact. Although the new product is not yet available for purchase, an Instagram post revealed that the headphones will be released in 2025.
The original Powerbeats Pro, which have been in production for more than five years, can still be bought on the official BeatsbyDre website for USD 249.95, or on Amazon for USD 199. They offer features such as spatial audio, iOS and Android compatibility, support for audio sharing, and Apple Find My for searching in case of loss.
It is now known that the Powerbeats Pro 2 will receive a charging case with a USB-C port instead of Lightning, which is a significant change from the first generation.
