Xiaomi 15 Ultra may receive Samsung's 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP9 camera

In June this year, Samsung introduced the ISOCELL HP9, the world's first 200-megapixel telephoto lens for smartphones. So far, this sensor has only been used in Vivo X100 Ultra. However, there is a possibility that it will also appear in Xiaomi's new flagship, Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

According to the latest data from SmartPrix, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which is expected in the near future, is equipped with a telephoto camera with a resolution of 200 megapixels. Since ISOCELL HP9 is the only telephoto sensor of this resolution, there is a high probability that it will be used in the new smartphone from Xiaomi.

The results of the ISOCELL HP9 in Vivo X100 Ultra are impressive, so it will be interesting to see how Xiaomi will tweak the software to improve the capabilities of this sensor.

Samsung's next flagship, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, will not have this sensor. Instead, it will have a 50-megapixel ISOCELL telephoto camera.
