Acer unveils the new Iconia X12 tablet at IFA 2024: AMOLED display and four speakers for under €400
Acer has unveiled a new all-in-one tablet, the Iconia X12, at IFA 2024.
Here's What We Know
The Iconia X12 features a 12.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Although the maximum brightness of the display is only 400 nits and the refresh rate is 60 Hz, the AMOLED panel is a rarity for mid-range tablets.
The tablet has four 1W speakers, each housed inside a slim 6.7mm-thick body. The total weight of the device is 600 g. The Iconia X12 is equipped with a 10,000 mAh battery and has 8 GB of RAM, as well as 128 GB or 256 GB of storage with the option of expansion.
The tablet supports manual input and a detachable keyboard, making it convenient for work.
The Iconia X12 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which, while well established, is no longer entirely new. This chipset combines two high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 cores and six efficient Cortex-A55 cores, as well as a Mali-G57 MP2 graphics processor.
Acer is planning to release the Iconia X12 in January 2025 at a price of 369 euros.
