Star Wars Outlaws was highly anticipated by fans, but the game received 76 points from critics and 5.6 from players on Metacritic, and in its first week, the physical version of Outlaws sold 55% worse in the UK than last year's Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in the same period. And one of Ubisoft's directors is disappointed with this.

Here's What We Know

Julian Gerity, creative director of Outlaws, said that he would have liked the game's scores to be a bit higher.

"I'm a bit disappointed with Metacritic. Of course, press and critical acclaim is very important to us, but the players really feel connected to what we've done," he said.

He added that the team feels "a level of pride, happiness, and a sense of accomplishment" and that the game will continue to be improved. Gerty also believes that millions of people will play Outlaws for years to come.

Where To Play

Star Wars Outlaws is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
