Fans raised more than $2.5 million in two days for a Cyberpunk 2077 board game: the authors had a goal of only $100 thousand

We wrote that CD Projekt and Go On Board presented a board game set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. The trailer was released on 3 September to coincide with the launch of the crowdfunding campaign. At that time, the required amount of 100 thousand dollars was raised in 10 minutes, and in 2 days, the figure exceeded 2 million.

Here's What We Know

As of the time of writing, 2 million and 600 thousand dollars have already been raised. Interestingly, the fundraising will end only on 20 September, and it's scary to imagine how many millions will be raised, so we want to believe that we will get a high-quality board game.

We would like to remind you that in Cyberpunk 2077 - The Board Game, players will once again find themselves in Night City and will carry out dangerous errands as mercenaries to earn credibility and gain access to the most prestigious orders in the city.

The developers showed the field, character figures, cards describing abilities and tasks, and said that the focus will be on the favourite characters of Cyberpunk 2077: V (male or female), Jackie, Panam and Judy, but fans will also see other important characters.

More information about the game can be found at this link.
