Star Wars Outlaws director 'a little disappointed' with game's Metacritic scores
Star Wars Outlaws was released last week, and it seems that it turned out to be a little worse than Ubisoft expected: as we wrote earlier, theTough times for Ubisoft: the failed release of Star Wars Outlaws caused the company's stock to fall to 2015 levels due to the release of Outlaws. Apparently, the company is also not very pleased with the assessment from the industry press: the game has 76 points out of 100 on Metacrtic. It is worth noting that this is still a very good indicator, but the game's director disagrees with us.
Here's What We Know
In a recent interview with GamesRadar, Outlaws director Julian Gerighty expressed his disappointment with the game's Metacritic score:
"I’m a little disappointed with the Metacritic. Of course, recognition from press and critics is very important to us, but players are really connecting with what we did.".
He also mentioned that the Massive Entertainment development team feels "proud, happy, and a sense of accomplishment" despite the mixed reception of the game.
