LG Display showed stretchable display garments at Seoul Fashion Week

A few years ago, LG Display unveiled a prototype flexible display that could stretch from 12 to 14 inches while maintaining high resolution. Now the company is taking it to the next level with stretchable displays.

Here's What We Know

At Seoul Fashion Week, LG Display worked with Korean designers to present clothes and bags with built-in screens. Such displays can be freely stretched, folded and twisted, but the manufacturer was silent about the possibility of washing.

Built-in displays allow you to change the overall look and style of clothes, because they can include different colours, images and animations.

One of the designers believes that stretchable displays will have a great impact on the fashion industry, allowing to realise designs that previously could only be imagined.
