One UI 6.1.1: New interface makes it easier to copy and move files

Samsung continues to improve its One UI interface, and the new One UI 6.1.1 is no exception. The update, which first appeared alongside the Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6 in July, offers a new user-friendly interface for copying and moving files.

Here's What We Know

In One UI 6.1.1, users now have access to a new interface element in the My Files app. When you select a file to copy or move, a pop-up window appears at the bottom of the screen with the available folders on your device or in the cloud. You can now quickly switch between tabs for internal storage, memory cards, and cloud services such as Google Drive and OneDrive.

When a file transfer is complete, a pop-up message lets you quickly navigate to the new folder, making file organisation even easier.

At the moment, this new interface is only available on Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6. The One UI 6.1.1 update will be available for other Galaxy smartphones and tablets in the future.
