SEGA recently trademarked Yakuza Wars, which no doubt refers to the Yakuza / Like a Dragon franchise.
The developers from Ryu Ga Gotoku studio promised that New game from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will 'surprise fans': it looks like the Japanese developers will return to the Like a Dragon (Yakuza) franchise but they haven't provided any information yet and urged to wait for RGG Summit 2024 show - it will be held on the 20th of September and there will be an important announcement from Japanese game designers.
Yakuza Wars interested gamers and they assumed that it is a mobile game, perhaps tactical or strategic, and this guess was fully confirmed.

A Yakuza Wars page was discovered on Facebook, where screenshots and brief information about the game were posted. At the moment, only one key art remains on the page, but nevertheless, the advertising campaign for the mobile game Yakuza Wars can be considered open.
The description suggests that it will be a strategy game featuring familiar characters from the Yakuza series, including Kazuma Kiryuu, Goro Majima and Kasuga Ichiban.
The banners invite gamers to Yakuza Wars closed beta testing, with a formal invitation possibly following at the RGG Summit or Tokyo Game Show.
