Apple unveils Apple Watch Series 10 with larger display and fast charging from $399

Apple has announced a new model of smartwatch - Apple Watch Series 10, which has an even larger display than the previous Apple Watch Ultra model. The new version has a wide-angle OLED screen that is 40% brighter and provides more space for displaying information.

Here's What We Know

One of the key new features is a new built-in speaker that allows you to play songs and podcasts directly from the watch. In addition, the Series 10 supports fast charging, which allows you to charge your device to 80% in just 30 minutes. The new watch face adapts to ambient light, highlighting the benefits of the new large screens.

On the health front, the new Apple Watch is able to detect sleep apnoea, a disorder in which breathing stops periodically during sleep. The watch uses sleep tracking to detect this disorder. Users must wear the watch for several days to get an accurate diagnosis.

In addition, the new models are more waterproof and are now certified for high-speed water sports at a depth of up to 20 metres. Apple is bringing its Depth app, currently only available for Ultra models, to the Series 10.

Pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 10 will start on Friday, 13 September, and official sales will begin on 20 September. The price of the watch starts at $399 for the model with a 44-millimetre screen.
