watchOS 11: New features for Apple Watch coming on 16 September
The new version of the watchOS 11 operating system will be available for download on 16 September. This update will bring many new features to Apple Watch.
Here's What's New About It
watchOS 11
The update includes new interactive widgets in the Smart Stack and introduces Live Activities from iPhone for the first time. An important new feature is the Vitals app, which provides more detailed health information based on data from Apple Watch.
The Fitness app will have new customisable activity rings. You can now set rest days or set different goals for specific days of the week. Apple Fitness+ also gets new personalisation options and improved rewards.
The update also includes new watch faces and the Apple Translate app for Apple Watch.

watchOS 11 will be compatible with the following Apple Watch models:
- Apple Watch Series 6
- Apple Watch Series 7
- Apple Watch Series 8
- Apple Watch Series 9
- Apple Watch Series 10
- Apple Watch Ultra (1st generation)
- Apple Watch Ultra (second generation)
- Apple Watch SE (2nd generation)
The update will be available on 16 September. The RC version is now available for developers and public beta testers. Once released, you will be able to download watchOS 11 via the Watch app on your iPhone.
