Apple has released an update for the Apple Pencil Pro

Apple has released a firmware update for the Apple Pencil Pro, which debuted with the iPad Pro earlier this year. The new firmware version is 0.1.40, which replaces the previous version 0.1.33.

Apple hasn't provided details on the changes or fixes included in the update, and traditionally doesn't publish firmware notes for Apple Pencils.

How To Switch It On

To update the firmware, you need to connect Apple Pencil Pro to your iPad and the update process will take place automatically.

Apple Pencil Pro has received a number of improvements over previous versions, including gesture support, haptic feedback, and integration with Find My. It is available for $129 and is supported by the iPad Air M2 and iPad Pro M4 models.
