Apple Watch Series 10 will be able to reduce wind noise during phone calls

The new Apple Watch Series 10, which will be unveiled next week, has an updated voice isolation feature to improve the quality of phone calls.

Thanks to the new Neural Engine in the Series 10, the watch is able to effectively reduce background noise during phone calls and FaceTime audio calls. This means that your voice will sound clearer even in noisy environments, such as windy days outside or crowded restaurants.

This feature is not available for the Apple Watch Series 9 and older models, but the Apple Watch Ultra 2 already has a similar feature.

For iPhone, there is also a setting to reduce wind noise during calls. However, in the new iPhone 16 models, the function is improved thanks to machine learning algorithms. Now it remains to wait for tests to assess how well the new solution works compared to previous models.

Pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 10 started yesterday, and the device will be available to customers on Friday, 20 September.
