The final boss in the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion to Elden Ring takes players dozens, if not hundreds of attempts to kill. Some even call it one of the most difficult bosses in the history of souls-like games. But now FromSoftware has released an update that makes it easier.
Here's What We Know
Patch 1.14 contains many changes, but there is a section dedicated to the final boss:
- The scheme of actions at the beginning of the battle has been changed.
- Some attack moves have been adjusted.
- Damage from some attacks has been reduced.
- Reduced damage from some stamina attacks.
- Reduced the range of some non-weapon-based attacks.
- Improved visibility of some attack effects.
