Meizu Lucky 08: new leak reveals Meizu smartphone with unique "Star Track" camera design

According to insiders, the new Meizu Lucky 08 smartphone will be the first in the company's more affordable line of mobile phones.

The leaked information about Meizu Lucky 08 indicates that the smartphone will be equipped with two cameras, but their location in the body will be unusual. It seems that one camera will be placed in the centre, and the other around it, as if in orbit. This creates a visual effect where one camera looks like it's orbiting the other due to the design of the body.

This design is likely to be called "Star Track".

Meizu Lucky 08 is planned to be released in black and gold colours. The smartphone will have a 6000 mAh battery and will also feature Flyme AIOS, which is already available in Meizu's flagship models.

In order to reduce the cost, Meizu will use a plastic frame with flat edges. The price of the device will be around 1999 yuan (~280 USD).

The official announcement of Lucky 08 is expected in September 2024 in China.
