The situation with Annapurna Interactive should not affect the film adaptations of Control and Alan Wake, as Remedy has signed a deal with Annapurna Pictures

We wrote that all employees left Annapurna Interactive, which published Stray and other indie hits. However, at the end of August, it became known that Control and Alan Wake would be adapted into films, as Remedy Entertainment Control and Alan Wake will be screen adapted! Remedy Entertainment has entered into a partnership with Annapurna Pictures with Annapurna. So how will this situation affect game adaptations?

Here's What We Know

Remedy has signed a contract with Annapurna Pictures, the parent company of Annapurna Interactive, because before entering the gaming market, Annapurna worked in film production. Therefore, in theory, the situation with the publisher should not affect the creation of films.

Why in theory? In this world, it happens that when a part of the company's mechanism breaks down, absolutely everything goes wrong. But if Annapurna can cope with this, then film production should not suffer.
