Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi 14R 5G budget smartphone with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip on board

Xiaomi has unexpectedly revealed a new budget smartphone Redmi 14R 5G in China.

Here's What We Know

The Redmi 14R 5G features a 6.88-inch screen with 1640×720p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has a maximum brightness of 600 nits.

The phone uses a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and a 5160 mAh battery. It comes with a 10W charger, though the phone supports 18W charging. As for the cameras, there are two of them in the novelty. The main one has got a 13 MP sensor, while the front one has a 5 MP sensor. The gadget also has a dual SIM and microSD slot, a headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Redmi 14R 5G comes with HyperOS, which is based on Android 14.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Redmi 14R 5G can already be bought in China for $155. The new product is available in four colours.
