The release of the RPG simulator Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game has been postponed until early 2025
Developer Weta Worskhop has announced that the release of Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Games will take place in early 2025, not this year, as originally planned. The developers posted a message to fans on the game's Twitter account (X):

Here's What We Know
In the appeal, the developers named probably one of the most popular reasons for the postponement - they need more time to ensure the proper quality of the game. They thanked the fans for their support and invited them to the Hobbit Day Showcase event, which will take place on Frodo and Bilbo's birthday on 22 September.
The gameplay of Tales of the Shire will be similar to the well-known Stardew Valley: players will be able to fish, grow vegetables, cook, invite guests, trade and learn new skills. Story missions with familiar characters will also be available.
Where To Play
Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game will be available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
