Tesla to introduce support for smart child car seats in new update

Tesla plans to introduce support for smart child seats in its next software update. This became known thanks to the findings of Greentheonly, a researcher who often analyses Tesla's update code.

Here's What We Know

Smart child seats, such as the Babyark Convertible, will be able to interact with Tesla cars. Babyark has intelligent features such as buckle alerts, child status, and time spent in the seat. A particularly important feature is the forgotten child alert, which helps you not to leave your baby in the car.

Tesla's software update is likely to include support for the ISOFIX mounting system, which makes it easier to install car seats. It is not yet known which smart seat features will be integrated into the Tesla system, but forgotten child warning and automatic seat recognition may be part of the innovation.
