80% discount on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was of little interest to many: peak online grew to only 500 players

On the occasion of the Penguin series premiere on 19 September, Warner Bros. launched a promotion on Steam, where Batman games received big discounts. One of them was the failed Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which was released in early 2024 and received low ratings and sales. Now it is 80% cheaper, but this did not help to attract a new audience.

Here's What We Know

According to SteamDB, the peak online game did not rise above 200 players for a long time (sometimes this figure was less than 100). On 15 August, it grew to 500, and at the time of writing, there are 190 people in the game. This means that even one thousand people were not interested in this discount. This once again proves that people want single-player superhero games like Batman Arkham or Marvel's Spider-Man, not game services.

However, let us remind you that Batman: Arkham Collection with three games and all the add-ons costs $9 on Steam until 22 September, and LEGO Batman Trilogy for $5.
