Galaxy S23 users face blurry photos after upgrading to One UI 6.1.1
On 16 September 2024, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series, Fold 5, Flip 5 and other devices. However, users are already reporting camera issues with the Galaxy S23 smartphones after installing the update. In particular, Galaxy S23 Ultra owners complain of blurry photos at zooms from 16x to 19.9x. The problem appeared in the update with build number CXH7.
Here's What We Know
Well-known whistleblower @tarunvats33, who follows One UI updates, noted that the problem is solved by setting the camera optimisation to medium or minimum. However, users in the comments feel that they should not change the camera settings to fix the bugs. Additionally, the One UI 6.1.1 update includes the August security patch, which is already outdated.

The new One UI 6.1 update(CXH7) is causing blurry photos with ghost shadows when zooming between 16x and 19.9x. ????
Temporary fix: Lower your Intelligent optimisation settings to Medium or Minimum.

Users are expecting Samsung to release a new update to fix camera issues. Perhaps the company will fix these flaws in the next update with a new security patch for September.
