Minecraft on PlayStation will no longer support VR headsets from March 2025

Minecraft owners on PlayStation could play with virtual reality glasses, but this feature will be removed next year.

Here's What We Know

Mojang announced that after March 2025, it will be impossible to play Minecraft on PlayStation in VR mode. The company did not explain this decision, so we can only guess why they are going to remove this feature. However, all of your worlds and items acquired in the VR version will be available in the regular version, so you won't lose any progress.

We'd like toremind you that Minecraft will be receiving several updates throughout the year, and the developers are currently working on a native version for PlayStation 5.

Where To Play

Minecraft is available on PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3/4/5, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, PS Vita, iOS, and Android.
