Update coming soon: Android 15 is coming out for Pixel devices as early as 15 October
As we know, Google is gearing up to release a stable Android 15 update for its Pixel devices and thanks to our colleagues at Android Headlines, the launch date of the update has been revealed.
Here's What We Know
According to the latest information, the update will start rolling out on 15 October 2024. This follows Google's usual update schedule, although there may be delays due to the latest bug fixes. Android 15 will be available for Pixel 6 and newer models, all the way up to the recently announced Pixel 9 lineup.
Google has already submitted Android 15 code to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), but is delaying the official update for the Pixel to ensure a more stable and debugged release. This decision allows the company to further test the update and fix possible compatibility issues. So, barring any unforeseen delays, Pixel users will be able to update to Android 15 in just a few weeks.
