Huawei Watch D2: a new watch with round-the-clock blood pressure monitoring and EU certification for €399
Huawei has introduced the new Watch D2, which continues the success of the Watch D model.
Here's What We Know
This device has an advanced ambulatory blood pressure measurement system (ABPM) that allows you to monitor your blood pressure around the clock.
Unlike competitors such as the Apple Watch Series 10, the Huawei Watch D2 uses a built-in micro-pump for accurate measurements.
The watch is equipped with an inflatable bracelet that resembles traditional cuffs and has the function of automatic measurement during sleep. The gadget is approved by the National Medical Device Administration of China and the MDR Regulation in Europe.
In addition to blood pressure, the Watch D2 offers ECG, SpO2, heart rate, stress level, and skin temperature analysis using the Huawei TruSense system.
The watch supports various standing, sitting or reclining positions and performs automatic measurements during sleep.
The front panel features a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a 2.5D floating design. The watch supports GPS to view routes directly on the screen. Available in black and gold, it will come with a fluoroelastomer strap or a cream leather strap.
Pricing starts at €399, and customers will receive a free pair of Huawei FreeBuds 5i headphones with purchase by 22 October.
