Galaxy A53 5G receives September security update in the US

Samsung has released an important update for the Galaxy A53 5G smartphone, which includes the September 2024 security patch. This update addresses 67 security vulnerabilities, which improves the overall security of the device.

Here's What We Know

The update is available for SM-A536U1 (factory unlock) and SM-A536U (carrier unlock) models in the US. The firmware version for the SM-A536U1 is A536U1UESAEXH3, and for the SM-A536U is A536USQSBEXH5.

Galaxy A53 5G should automatically receive the update notification. If not, please check manually: go to Settings, Software update, Download and install.

Although the Galaxy A53 5G won't receive One UI 6.1.1 on Android 14, it will be able to update to One UI 7.0 on Android 15 by the end of the year.
