It's official: cult film The 300 will get a prequel series from Zack Snyder
The 300 was released in 2006 and was remembered not only for its timeless "This is Sparta!" meme, but also for its extremely entertaining and well-directed fight scenes.
Fans of the film still enjoy revisiting it, but soon they will get a new look at the story of King Leonidas and his warriors, who stood up to a huge army of Persians.
Here's What We Know
A few days ago, the animated series Twilight of the Gods from Zack Snyder, who directed 300 Spartans, premiered on Netflix and in a press conference he confirmed that he and his team are starting production on the historical series.
We're just getting ready to dive in and start working.... It's going to be very exciting, I love this universe!
It will be a prequel to "300 Spartans" and will tell the story of the events leading up to the campaign of Leonidas' warriors against the Persian King Xerxes.
