Dragon Age: The Veilguard will have a fully fleshed out plot: BioWare has taken Inquisition's mistakes into account
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released at the end of October.
As we have already reported, the developers presented six hours of gameplay to the journalists and they were satisfied with what they saw. Media representatives noted that BioWare took into account all their own mistakes of the last releases and will not repeat them in the case of the ambitious RPG.
It turned out, correctly made conclusions apply to post-release support for the game.
Here's What We Know
In a podcast hosted by blogger MrMattyPlays, The Veilguard game director Corrine Busche admitted that the release of the Trespasser add-on for Dragon Age: Inquisition was a mistake, as it was critical to the harmonious ending of the game's story and anyone who didn't buy the DLC was left with an unfinished story and didn't recognise the events that preceded The Veilguard.
Corrine Bouchet noted that this situation will not happen again with the new game, because in Dragon Age: The Veilguard BioWare created a fully completed story, which does not need to be developed. At the same time, the Canadian studio does not exclude the possibility of releasing post-release DLC, but they will have only secondary plots, which can complement the main story, but are not directly related to it.
When We Can Expect It
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released on 31 October on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
The game's system requirements have already been published.
