Tecno Pop 9 5G: affordable smartphone with 48MP camera and 120Hz display to debut on 24 September

Tecno is preparing to launch its new Pop 9 5G smartphone, which will be officially unveiled on 24 September. Its predecessor, the Pop 8, was released in October last year, and now the new model continues the series with a focus on affordability and modern features.

Technical Characteristics

The Tecno Pop 9 5G will feature a 48MP camera with Sony IMX582 sensor, which promises high quality images. It will be available in two versions: 4GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB of storage.

The smartphone will be powered by a Dimensity 6300 processor and support a 120Hz display refresh rate, which will make using the device smooth and comfortable. It is known that the price will not exceed 10,000 Indian rupees (approximately USD 120).

Tecno Pop 9 5G will have a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Other important features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, IR blaster and IP54 certification for protection against dust and water. The smartphone is also equipped with dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, which will provide excellent sound quality.

Pop 9 5G will be available in two colours. Sales of the device will begin via Amazon.in.
