Steam has once again set a new online peak: On 22 September, more than 38 million people used the service simultaneously

On 25 August, Steam reached a new online peak: more than 37 million people used the service simultaneously. And almost a month later, this result was improved.

Here's What We Know

On 22 September, there were 38,367,277 users on Steam at the same time. Interestingly, only 12,270,218 people were playing games at that moment. But in August, when the previous record was set, there were 300 thousand more people playing games.

Steam often experiences peak online times because PC gaming is becoming more popular as many people are disappointed with this generation of consoles and have decided to try PC.
