Samsung's Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 line of devices are getting the One UI 6.1.1 update in Europe

Last week, Samsung started rolling out the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S22 and Tab S8 series in South Korea. The update is now available in Europe as well.

Here's What We Know

European smartphones in the Galaxy S22 series are receiving the One UI 6.1.1 update with firmware version S90xBXXUBEXH7, which also includes a security patch dated September 2024.

Meanwhile, Samsung is also updating the Galaxy Tab S8 line of tablets in Europe to One UI 6.1.1, where the update contains firmware version Xx06BXXU8CXHB. The new software for the Galaxy Tab S8 probably contains the latest security patch too. The update is currently available for LTE versions of the Tab S8, while Wi-Fi only models will get the update soon.

One UI 6.1.1 adds AI improvements such as Sketch to Image, Portrait Studio. It also adds Live Translation support for more apps and improved translation tools on Samsung Internet. The update includes many other improvements to improve usability and security.
