Historical drama of epic scale: the spectacular trailer of the film "Gladiator 2" is presented

As promised in the teaser, Paramount Pictures has released an extended trailer for Gladiator II, the historical drama film from Ridley Scott - who wrote the original 2000 film that won five Oscars and a host of other awards

Here's What We Know

In an atmospheric and spectacular video, the audience was shown epic fights in the gladiatorial arena, tense dialogues, characters, scenes from the daily life of ancient Rome and bloody battles.

Recall, the main roles in the sequel "Gladiator" will perform Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn and Denzel Washington.

Here's What The Movie Is About

The plot of "Gladiator 2" unfolds 20 years after the events of the previous part and focuses on Lucius - the nephew of the Roman Emperor Commodus.

He was raised outside the Roman Empire by his mother Lucilla. Lucilla wanted to protect him, but the son feels a great resentment towards his mother and is hurt that she abandoned him away from home.

Lucius now has a wife and child and lives a peaceful life until Roman invaders invade their territory. The troops are led by Marcus Acacius (played by Pedro Pascal), whose mentor was the gladiator Maximus, the protagonist of the first film.

Lucius becomes Marcus' prisoner and will have only two options - become a slave or die in the gladiatorial arena.

When We Can Expect It

Gladiator 2 will premiere on 22 November in cinemas only, including IMAX.
