Google Gemini may get a new interface

Google Gemini beta testers are starting to get access to an updated interface for the home screen. This update provides easier access to features, including the ability to hide chat history with a single tap.

Here's What We Know

The new interface has become more personalised, as Gemini now greets users by name, similar to the way it is implemented in the web version.

These changes can be seen in version 15.38.46.29 of the Google beta programme. The interface has become simpler and more convenient: Google has removed suggestions from the top of the screen, and the chat history is now accessible via a new icon in the top left corner. In addition, users can customise their conversations with the chatbot for a more personalised experience.

The interface update is a continuation of changes already implemented in the web version of Gemini, where users are also greeted by name. Given that the update is available to beta testers, we can expect these changes to be rolled out to the stable version of the app soon.
