Gaming mode in OnePlus and OPPO smartphones gets Spotify player support

OnePlus and OPPO have announced a partnership with Spotify.

Here's What We Know

This was revealed by OPPO CEO and OnePlus co-founder Pete Lau on Twitter. Thanks to the partnership, the game mode in OnePlus and OPPO smartphones got support for Spotify player, which will open on top of the main window.

Our partnership with @Spotify is delivering more than music to your ears.

Starting from today, OnePlus and OPPO users in select markets will receive an overlay within the Spotify app introducing the exclusive gaming tools available.

Essentially, you won't have to constantly switch between the Spotify app and the game to adjust volume, skip a track, or pause music.

Unfortunately, exactly which OnePlus and OPPO models support the new feature is unknown. Also, there is no information yet in which regions the innovation works.
