Samsung Galaxy S24 series flagships get security update for September in European countries

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is finally getting the latest security update for September. Due to the fact that these smartphones recently received the new One UI 6.1.1.1 firmware, the update to the actual patch was delayed. Samsung is now rectifying this situation.

Here's What We Know

The new security update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra is now available across Europe. It comes with firmware version S92xBXXS3AXHD and has download sizes ranging from 288MB (Galaxy S24) to 451.53MB (Galaxy S24 Ultra), depending on the model. Only the September 2024 security patch is available in the update, which addresses 67 vulnerabilities found in the previous version of the software.

For models in the Galaxy S24 lineup, which received the big One UI 6.1.1 update two weeks earlier, the beta test for the new One UI 7.0 firmware could soon open, expected to begin later this month or early next month. To be able to test out the new One UI 7.0, you'll need to sign up for the beta test on the Samsung Members app when notified.
