Vampire classics return: the long-awaited Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered compilation has been announced

On State of Play confirmed the rumour about the development of remasters of two parts of the cult vampire action Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver.

Recall, gamers have long asked Crystal Dynamics to release a re-release of these games and the first information that the fans' requests are heard It looks like Crystal Dynamics will soon release remasters of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2: photos from San Diego Comic-Con leave no doubts in San Diego.

Here's What We Know

Crystal Dynamics and Aspyr studio, which made a name for itself on re-releases of cult games, announced the Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered compilation. Thus, the rights holder (Crystal Dynamics) will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Soul Reaver and offer gamers to dive back into the conflict between Kain and Raziel with slightly improved graphics, increased resolution, modern controls and minor technical edits.

For a more nostalgic effect, the developers have included the ability to switch between the original and updated graphics directly during gameplay.

When We Can Expect It

Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered will be released on 10 December on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Pre-order is already open.
