"I have returned from the depths of hell stronger than I was" - Heihachi Mishima's iconic character will appear in Tekken 8 as early as the end of September

Bandai Namco has revealed the date for the next DLC character in Tekken 8 fighting game.

As previously reported, the next fighter will be Tekken series fan favourite Heihachi Mishima.

Heihachi Mishima is the founder of The King of Iron Fist Tournament. He is no longer young, but he is still a serious contender for any character. In the new video he stated, "I've returned from the depths of Hell even stronger than I've ever been!" and will appear in Tekken 8 on 30 September, but first purchasers of the First Year Character Pass will be the first to try him out, with general access opening on 3 October.

In addition, the fighting game will receive an update with a new story chapter Unforgotten Echoes on 30 September.
