The latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor has been revealed in Xiaomi's HyperOS software

Qualcomm is preparing to unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, but unexpectedly, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 has been revealed in Xiaomi's HyperOS software. This processor with model number SM8735 seems to be already being tested by brands like Xiaomi.

Here's What We Know

It was previously reported that the Redmi Turbo 4 has been added to the IMEI database, and it is possible that this smartphone could be using the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. Last year, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (model number SM8635) was used in the Redmi Turbo 3 and Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is expected to be used in the successors to these models and is expected to have similar performance to the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship.

It is not yet known what changes Qualcomm will make to the new processor and in which specific Xiaomi models it will appear, but its appearance in HyperOS confirms that it is under active testing. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is expected to debut next year.
