Mod creator who bypassed PSN account linking for God of War Ragnarok deletes it due to fears of "possible threats from Sony"

We wrote that a mod has been created that will allow you to bypass the PSN account link to complete God of War Ragnarok. However, its author has removed the mod and you will never be able to download it again.

The NoPSSDK modification allowed you to bypass the requirement to link a PSN account and play Ragnarok without any problems. But now it is no longer available on NexusMods or GitHub.

People have already started to build their theories and the most popular one was that Sony asked them to do it, but the author of the mod gave a comment to IGN where he explained everything.

Moderator iArtorias said that it was his personal decision to remove the mod because it became too popular and people started promoting it on Steam forums, thus attracting a lot of attention.

I just wanted to avoid possible threats from Sony, even if the code never touched any of their products. You never know, and it's really a grey area for me

So now you will continue to have to link your PSN account if you really want to play Ragnarok.
