Deities of Chinese mythology will join the battle: for Age of Mythology: Retold announced a major expansion for Immortal Pillars

At the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft and World's Edge announced a major expansion for Age of Mythology: Retold, the highly acclaimed remake of the 2002 cult strategy game.

Here's What We Know

The DLC will be called Immortal Pillars and will be dedicated to the Chinese Pantheon of deities and mythical creatures.

Gamers can expect new units, buildings, story quests, magical abilities, and much more.

The developers have not yet disclosed the details of the expansion and have not announced the release date, but they already suggest adding it to the wishlist on PC and Xbox Series.

Currently, Age of Mythology: Retold features deities and creatures from the Egyptian, Ancient Greek, and Norse Pantheons, as well as a separate Atlantean faction.

The remake was released in early September and received a huge amount of positive feedback.

The updated strategy is available in the Game Pass catalogue.
