Samsung may make some Galaxy AI features payable in 2025
Samsung continues to actively use artificial intelligence in Galaxy devices, and it can become a new source of profit. Since the beginning of the year, the company has repeatedly mentioned that some Galaxy AI features may be paid for, and now it has confirmed these plans again.
Here's What We Know
In the recent announcement of new products, such as Galaxy Tab S10 and Galaxy S24 FE, Samsung noted that by the end of 2025, certain AI features may be charged for. Similar statements have been made in the past, including after the launch of the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy Fold and Flip 6 line.
Despite the hints, Samsung does not specify which features may become paid. However, this may include tools based on Google technologies, with which Samsung actively cooperates. The move is part of the company's global strategy to introduce paid services and subscriptions, such as Secure Wi-Fi.
Now it remains to wait until the end of 2025 to see which AI features will become paid for.
