Hideo Kojima made Death Stranding 2: On The Beach only 30-40% complete, but plans to release the game in 2025

We wrote that Hideo Kojima had already set a release date for Death Stranding 2, but did not want to name it due to "unforeseen circumstances". However, it turned out that the game is not even half ready.

During his speech at the Tokyo Game Show, Hideo said that the game is only 30-40% ready, but he did not show much concern about this.

Some of the work that needs to be done includes re-recording all the dialogues for the game in Japanese for localisation.

However, he still plans to release the game in 2025 on PlayStation. Therefore, we hope that by the end of next year, he and his team will have time to make it 100% complete.
