Vivo is actively working on a new foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold4, which has been spotted in the IMEI database. The device is expected to be unveiled in the first quarter of 2025.

In the IMEI database, the device is listed with the marketing name Vivo X Fold4, which will have the model number V2429. It is reported that the smartphone will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and a 6,000mAh battery. The device will also get a triple 50-megapixel rear camera with periscopic lens and support for wireless charging. The smartphone will be around 8mm thick when folded and weigh around 210 grams.
