Motion Twin studio - the author of the popular metroidvania Dead Cells - has revealed the release date of its new game.

Here's What We Know

Colourful cooperative action with roguelike elements Windblown will be released in Steam Early Access on October 24th.

The events of the game will unfold in a village that floats in the sky. It will be attacked by some enemies and only player characters will be able to stop the threat and return the peaceful life.

Gamers will be offered five biomes, twelve types of weapons and the possibility of both single and co-operative passage in three.

The game will be in Early Access for at least a year and during this time the developers plan to increase the amount of content, add weapons, locations, enemies, improve the technical state of the game and make other changes.

Before the release, everyone will be able to get acquainted with the demo version of Windblown during the Steam Next Fest event, which will be held from 14 to 21 October. Progress made can be transferred to the purchased version of the game.
