Internet vandalism: trolls tried to lower the rating of Silent Hill 2 remake on Wikipedia
The remake of Silent Hill 2 has received high marks from critics and players, but some people on the Internet are not happy with the game's release and decided to edit the game's Wikipedia page to make it seem like SH2 has low scores.

For now, Wikipedia is forced to block the ability to edit the Silent Hill 2 Remake page for unregistered users. For example, Internet trolls wrote that the game "received the worst reviews imaginable". Or it is stated that Eurogamer gave the game 0/5 stars, although the game actually received 5 stars.

No one knows the exact motivation for such actions, but at the time of writing, the game page has already been restored and now there are no troll edits.
