An era has passed: Apple adds last iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle to list of 'obsolete products'

Apple has officially added the latest iPod Shuffle and iPod Nano to the list of obsolete products worldwide. This list includes devices that Apple discontinued more than seven years ago. Obsolete devices are not eligible for repair at Apple Stores or Apple Authorised Repair Centres, except for MacBook battery replacement, which can be done for 10 years.

Here's What We Know

The iPhone 6 has also joined this list. Although its larger version, the iPhone 6 Plus, joined the list back in April, the iPhone 6 remained on sale at some resellers, so it only made the list now.

Also, the 2017 12-inch MacBook and the iPad 6th have become "vintage", meaning that they were discontinued more than five years ago. Apple can repair such devices, but only if the necessary spare parts are available.
