Philips introduces 27-inch 27B2U6903 4K monitor for business with presence sensor

Philips has introduced the new 27B2U6903 business monitor, which has already won iF Design and RedDot Winner awards. This 27-inch IPS panel monitor offers 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution at 60Hz, 350 nits brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio.

Here's What We Know

With maximum viewing angles of 178º horizontal and vertical, the 27B2U6903 is suitable for a variety of business tasks.

Other features include two Thunderbolt 4 ports that support up to 100W charging and daisy-chaining, as well as a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port and a USB hub with four Type-A and USB Type-C ports.

The PowerSensor 2 Presence Sensor automatically activates or deactivates connected devices based on the user's presence. The sensor can detect if the user is near the monitor. If you approach the monitor, it automatically activates the connected device (for example, wakes up a laptop). If you move away, the device is locked. This helps to save energy and increases data security. It is important to note that this sensor currently only works with Windows 11.

The monitor is available now in the UK for £449.99 and in Europe for €549. More details can be found on the Philips website.
