In the US and Canada, Google Maps now allows you to reserve a parking space in the app

Google has announced an integration with SpotHero that will make it easier for drivers to find and book parking spaces. From now on, using Google Maps and Search, you can easily book a parking space right in the app.

Here's How It Works

When searching for a parking space, if the SpotHero booking option is available, you will see the "Book Online" button. Click on it and you will be redirected to the SpotHero website to complete the payment via a secure connection. The entire booking process is done directly in Google Maps or Search, without the need to switch between apps.

Users can also book parking spaces in advance by filtering by date and time. Additionally, options for charging electric vehicles and parking for people with disabilities are available. After testing with a limited group of users, the new feature is now available to all.

Although SpotHero covers 300 cities in the US and Canada, not all regions may support this feature. Recently, SpotHero has been integrating with popular platforms such as Lyft and Apple Maps, and now Google.
